The Lodge:

The Lectric Duck has three bedrooms and sleeps nine people. The whole lodge has been remodeled and we added a brand new addition that includes a kitchen and mud room with all new appliances.  Two full bathrooms (brand new), living room, den (with pool table and fireplace), and satellite TV.  Covered front porch and a deck out back. Plenty of parking, barbecue grill, etc., etc.  You will feel right at home.

The Lectric Duck is obviously first and foremost a duck hunting lodge.  We have great wooded public hunting land (Rainey Brake WMA) right here in the back yard.  There is no guiding allowed on the Brake, but if you want a private guided hunt on private land, we have that too.  If you want to keep hunting after the 11am curfew on the brake but don't want to use a guide, just drop you boat off in the Black River and go after some high river ducks.  FUN.

You can hunt ducks until 11am on the Brake then pull out your bow and hunt some BIG WHITETAIL in the bottoms. Bring your bow.  You will already have the license so you may as well make a full day of hunting out of it. Not a bow hunter, bring some lead shot and get after those squirrels and rabbits.  We encourage you to bring your kids and small game hunting will be right up their alley.

Hunting is great, but you can't do it all year long.  Within minutes of the Lectric Duck, there are several fine fishing rivers.  The Black, White, Strawberry, Eleven Point, and Spring Rivers are all nearby.  It just happens that duck season and the best of walleye season coincide. We can get some good walleye reports and point you in the right direction

All of these rivers hold largemouth, smallmouth, and Kentucky bass. In the spring, the crappie are on around here. There are several publicly accessible sloughs off the Black River right here. Several great smallmouth and trout fisheries are very nearby as well.  Just let us know what you want to do and we can either arrange a guide for you or give you all the information you need to go it alone.

Lots of rivers right?  Come stay with us and check out the great canoeing.  We can arrange to drop you off and pick you up or have it any way you like.  These are easy rivers and great for the whole family.

LOTS and LOTS and LOTS of birds.  Bird watchers from all over come to this part of the country to watch the animals they love.  We invite you to stay with us.  We have a naturalist on staff to offer you more information.
